Haskell cabal install wx: missing C library wx_gtk2u_webview-3.0 -


i trying install wx cabal install wx

configuring wxc build against wxwidgets 3.0 setup: missing dependency on foreign library: * missing c library: wx_gtk2u_webview-3.0 problem can solved installing system package provides library (you may need "-dev" version). if library installed in non-standard location can use flags --extra-include-dirs= , --extra-lib-dirs= specify is. cabal: error: packages failed install : wx-0.92.0.0 depends on wxc-0.92.0.0 failed install. wxc-0.92.0.0 failed during configure step. exception was: exitfailure 1 wxcore-0.92.0.0 depends on wxc-0.92.0.0 failed install.

but have following files in /usr/lib :

/usr/lib/libwx_gtk2u_webview-3.0.so /usr/lib/libwx_gtk2u_webview-3.0.so.0 /usr/lib/libwx_gtk2u_webview-3.0.so.0.2.0

i have tried cabal install --extra-lib-dirs=/usr/lib/ wx no avail.

i have tried suggestions in cabal install wx missing c library

i on archlinux , have both wxgtk-3.0 , wxgtk-2.8 multilib , normal versions. tried reinstalling them.

i ran same problem on arch; when tried running cabal --verbose=3, looked libwx_gtk2u_webview-3.0 present, complaining libwebkitgtk-1.0 being missing. after installed webkitgtk2 package, provides libwebkitgtk-1.0, wxhaskell installed no problems.
