javascript - HTML/CSS for an infographic page -


i'm looking create web page incorporates image of house - various parts of house responsive mouse clicks. house single primary element on page.

given employ illustrator make image, should i:

  • try , make 'box-like' can in html5/css3

  • use svg close design possible

  • use imagemap , javascript detecting clicks on image

if chart-type infographic, use charting js library it's more of custom image.

links informative urls or example pages welcomed.

i'd suggest using svg. in way don't compromise on quality of image yet retain easy way 'assign' parts of image have event handlers attached them.
