html - DOM - Select Value from a Field that has a Search Component and a Drop Down -


i have been working on forever. have attached first picture of steps trying in vba. particular field have having trouble populating client of mine appears drop down when click it, has search field. know option value want field set using doc.getelementbyid("id_referrer").selectedindex = fieldvalue not working. see first picture steps of i'm trying do, second picture behind scenes @ classes , different commands i've tried populate field. save button works, nothing ever populated referrer or bombs.

Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, Postgres, UTF-8 and ASCII-8BIT encodings -
