android - Streaming image artefacts -


when watched videos on mobile phone never noticed image artefacts. of time connected wi-fi , streaming protocol hls. on error video stopped, crashed or showed me load indicator.

that’s why ask on faults can see image artefacts? if streaming protocol or device detect image artefacts in error cases? , image artefacts guys has seen.

image artefacts caused errors in video stream. errors result of bad input stream, errors made encoder, errors during transfer , on. errors fatal, others decoder can recover - depends on decoder itself. imho android video capabilities poor.
