accessibility - Inspecting local html files using WAVE tool -

wave web accessibility tool used inspect webpages check compliance accessibility standards visually challenged. there way online tool or chrome extension, used inspect html files hosted in local desktop server?

if can open page in browser, can use extension check page. tried both page running on localhost , page opened file on c drive.

i'm using wave add-on in firefox.

according their site:

the toolbar can check intranet, password-protected, dynamically generated, or sensitive web pages. also, because wave toolbar evaluates rendered version of page, locally displayed styles , dynamically-generated content scripts or ajax can evaluated.

the online tool, however, requires public url.
