java - maven gives compilation error before loading dependencies -


i trying build project using 'mvn clean install' gives me compilation error packages missing. when m2 folder, local repository not created. how enforce loading of dependencies before compilation of projec?

some of things tried mvn clean install -u delete .project, .classpath, .settings

any options?
