ssis - Error at SQL PostExecute to SSISPckgLog [Execute SQL Task]: Connection manager "" does not exist -


i'm new ssis (but have experience c# .net, ssrs, tsql, , on). handed old ssis package , have upgraded work in visual studio 2013, sql server 2014, project deployment model. next want use project level connection managers. created new 1 , changed connections in 1 of packages use it. deleted old (package level) connection manager , started getting error: error @ sql postexecute ssispckglog [execute sql task]: connection manager "oldconnection" not exist. can me find postexecute located. not visible on control flow surface. if can find it, can change use new project level connection manager. in advance! enter image description here

the little used tab called package explorer friend in situation. there, you'll tree view of package. through event handlers , executables (as on specific executables)

based on comments, might have logging turned on. disable, right click in background of control flow (or go ssis menu) , select logging. delete have empty value in configuration

originally, stated problem domain contained vs 2013 , sql server 2012. problem you're going run mismatch between sql server , integration services , visual studio version.

  • vs 2012 targets sql server 2012
  • vs 2013 targets sql server 2014

you can move (2012 packages run on 2014) downgrading of packages not capability of ... pretty ms product
