How to go about Sales Quota in QlikView -


i'm quite new qlikview , don't know how tackle problem.

i have table sales quota per sales person , year. have fact table sales. if select year shows sales quota year if select example month it's still same quota.

do have generate quota per day? hope understand i'm after.

technically speaking, yes. have divide yearly quota smaller periods. have not seen data model instead of yearly sales quota table generate table sales quota per sales person , smaller period.

the length of period depends on level of detail wish achieve. sales quota per month sufficient. have keep in mind yearly sales number not divide linearly between months. weekends , national holidays have taken account. i'm not aware of industry you're in seasonality might play role well.
