Chef Server. Upgrade embedded PostgreSQL 9.2 -


i need upgrade postgresql comes chef server.

/opt/opscode/embedded/postgresql/9.2

it's been installed binaries, not apt, , installation directory path suggests it's embedded version. although i'm able access remotely fine.

has tried patching built-in postgresql comes chef?

my target version 9.5 need support of json functions available in 9.5.

Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, Postgres, UTF-8 and ASCII-8BIT encodings -
