osx - MDLS | MetaData | Unable to grab kMDItemVersion of Illustrator File -


i'm attempting display files version using mdls -name kmditemversion filepath it's returning null.

if simpy run mdls filepath kmditemversion not displayed file.

the weird part can view version info right-clicking , selecting info.

normally use kmditemcreator .ai files don't appear add specific metadata unlike other apps.

sadly don't have enough points post pics. it's important know .ai files displays following under info > general. 

version: saves v.17 created v. 18.0.0

this info i'm after.

Getting gateway time-out Rails app with Nginx + Puma running on Digital Ocean -
