phpmyadmin - Where is the Save As Dailog Box? -


in old version, had more control on how backup table , data.

after selecting database , table, click on export tab, , @ bottom "save file" checkbox. there microsoft windows explorer "save as" dialog box , had more control save .sql files.

this latest version of phpmyadmin no longer gives me option. given options "quick" , custom." choosing custom gives me option "save output file", lets me specify "file name template" set @table@ , character set. not give me option choose save location.

when click "go", opens output in editpad light through browser's default downloads folder, , frustrating have either copy , paste text in new file or navigate through series of folders every time.

i using version: 4.2.5, latest stable version: 4.5.0.2 , latest version of google chrome.

to obtain save dialog in google chrome, open settings page (can done visiting chrome://chrome/settings/). click on "advanced settings" , you'll see downloads section. tick option "ask save each file before downloading".
