android - why does my work look completely different on mobile to how it's designed? -


so i've been trying learn more responsive design. i've started playing on computer tiny project mobile first approach. scaled browser down small , styled layout correctly. using % widths , rem fonts. thought wow easy

however, when went @ work on actual mobile layout positions fine every feature/element on page showing tiny. navigation menu coming small compared how looked in browser.

why this? browser use chrome , mobile android.
